Dwayne Russell's pressure meter heading into Round 4, 2025
SEN’s Dwayne Russell has named the five teams under the most pressure heading into Round 4.
Russell’s pressure meter ranks teams from 1-5, with number one having the most pressure on them and the most to lose heading into the round.
Check out Russell’s pressure meter below.

1 – Carltonvs Collingwood – MCG – Thursday
“I’ve got Carlton number one, they are against their biggest old rival in Collingwood tonight.
“There’s gonna be 100,000 at the MCG there tonight. I don’t think there’s a person that is following footy at the moment that won’t have a look tonight to see what Carlton dish up and what Collingwood dish up, even if you’re not a Carlton or Collingwood fan.
“All eyes are on you Carlton. ‘Vossy’ said a couple of weeks ago after a loss, judge us on what we do next week. They lost, he’s now saying judge us on whether we can get our process right. Well, we’re judging the process right tonight for you ‘Vossy’, we’ll see how it goes.”
2 - Melbournevs Geelong - GMHBA Stadium – Friday
“I’ve got Melbourne as two, GMHBA Stadium against Geelong.
“If they start zero and four, their midfield gets smashed and their leaders don’t lead because the leaders haven’t led as well in the last couple of weeks, then I think they are going to be a massive talking point on Monday.
“This pressure meter is about what the fallout is going to be and how big it is for the team that loses.”
3 – Port Adelaidevs St Kilda - Adelaide Oval – Sunday
“I’ve got Port at three. Lose at home to St Kilda, and this whole ‘will the handover work or not’, ‘is the handover working or not’, from Ken Hinkley to Josh Carr is going to be reheated, and it might be hotter than ever come Monday.
“If they lose, it’s going to become a bigger hot topic than it already has been.”
4 - Fremantlevs Western Bulldogs – Optus Stadium – Sunday
“I’ve got Fremantle at four, one win so far for Fremantle, but it’s against the West Coast.
“They haven’t really proven anything just yet. They have got to win this game at home in Perth against the Dogs to prove to a lot of people that they are on the right track to being a premiership contender.”
5 – Geelongvs Melbourne - GMHBA Stadium – Friday
“I have actually got Geelong at five. It’s a home game for Geelong and they are one and two.
“If the Cats lose to Melbourne, then they will be in exactly the same deep water as Melbourne, they will be one and three.”
