"Coming": Jamarra indicates potential AFL return via social media
With one word Jamarra Ugle-Hagan has sent social media into a frenzy with fans convinced the troubled Bulldog is preparing to make a return to footy.
Ugle-Hagan, who is currently on an indefinite break from his AFL career as he deals with unspecified personal issues, posted a black and white video compilation of himself boxing, training and running on his personal 'TikTok' page.
Below the video one fan commented “please come back” to which the former No.1 draft pick replied “coming x”.
Last month it was reported that Ugle-Hagan had checked himself into a health retreat out of Victoria as he looked to save his football career.
Having not featured for the Bulldogs since the 2024 season, Ugle-Hagan took a indefinite leave of absence after weeks of speculation over his future.
Sporadically at training, the 23-year-old had faced weeks of criticism for his constant use of social media, particularly the use of his personal Instagram account.
From vision of himself out partying to a crude profile photo citing Nick Riewoldt, Ugle-Hagan used his Instagram as a tool for expression through his time out of the game.
His future and behaviour was dominating media coverage to a near farcical point.
While it remains to be seen if Ugle-Hagan will play this season or if his future is with the Bulldogs, the latest post on his social media will be welcomed by fans.
