Dwayne Russell's pressure meter heading into Round 13, 2025
SEN’s Dwayne Russell has named the five teams under the most pressure heading into Round 13.
Russell’s pressure meter ranks teams from 1-5, with number one having the most pressure on them and the most to lose heading into the round.
Check out Russell’s pressure meter below.

1 – Hawthornvs Western Bulldogs – Marvel Stadium – Thursday
“I've got Hawthorn number one.
“Hawks tonight, coming off three losses in a row, and lose a fourth, and likely to be out of the top eight by the end of the round.
“So, I think there's a bit on this for the Hawks tonight, even though they've got a few players out.”
2 - Carltonvs Essendon - MCG – Saturday
“Carlton are two for me.
“Fresh off the bye, lost their last couple and Essendon's ahead of Carlton on the ladder right now.
“Is Essendon ahead of Carlton in the race for a flag? Well, Blues fans would hope not, but Carlton, big pressure game this weekend against the Bombers.
“I've got them at two to keep their season alive.”
3 – Sydneyvs Richmond - MCG – Friday
“Sydney's three, obviously.
“Last year's Grand Finalists lost three of their last four.
“Season all but over. I know the mathematicians will tell me it's not, but season is all but over, if they lose to the 16th placed Richmond.”
4 - Western Bulldogsvs Hawthorn – Marvel Stadium – Thursday
“I've got the Dogs at four.
“Both teams in tonight's game in the pressure meter.
“Dogs are not in the 8 right now, and they have Hawthorn down with a few injuries on the ropes.
“You can't announce Bevo's new long-term deal next week if you're announcing it with the dogs sitting ninth or tenth.
“So, the Dogs need to win this one tonight. I've got them fourth on the pressure meter given they're outside the 8 right now, even though most people believe they're a genuine contender for the flag.”
5 – North Melbournevs West Coast - Hands Oval – Sunday
“I do have North Melbourne fifth.
“You can't tell us you've improved and then finish in the bottom two on the ladder again for a sixth year in a row.
“It would be dangerous for North Melbourne to try and spruik that ‘we've improved’ line if you come back from selling two home games in WA, you come back to Melbourne having lost a couple and you might even find yourself on the bottom of the AFL ladder.
“So, North need to win this game in Bunbury against the West Coast Eagles at least, even though the game against Freo would be hard to win.”
