SENTrack: Saturday best bets from Cam Luke & David Taggart (12/04)
The best bets for Saturday racing from the Trackside team!
Cam Luke
RANDWICK
Race 1 | 1. Tupakara
This girl comes out of the right races. She hit the line really well last start over the 1400m behind Nepotism suggesting to me the mile is perfect. Should be able to follow Lady Pankhurst over and sit one out one back stalking the speed. Little bit of toe into the ground also won’t hurt and I expect her to be very hard to beat.
Race 4 | 5. Inkaruna
Ran really well last start behind Tempted and is drawn so much better today. Gets an advantage in the weights as well. Will be able to sit a lot closer than the fave and Mark Zahra is a freak. Has won a trial since last start and she was a tad green as well at only her second start so expect her again to improve on that.
Race 10 | 5. Commemorative
Was huge in the Galaxy with zero luck and should have nearly won it. She doesn’t enjoy inside gates and she gets room today from that wide gate. JMac will get a backside and let the big girl loose in the straight.
BENDIGO
Race 5 | 3. Sweethearted
Was pretty good resuming in town in a race won by the leader. Around a bend I think helps as does staying at 1100m. Won’t get as far back without a huge amount of speed outside of Manolo Bling who he beat last prep albeit weight swing today. I think Joe Bowditch gets a backside three pairs back and goes past them.
Race 8 | 3. Wonder Boy
Has found himself continuing to find bad luck but was really good last start even though I don’t think he handled Sydney all that well! Probably needs a little speed as well (hadn’t got that last 2 starts) so hoping Rue De Royale & Kalkallo inject some speed. Good track to his liking and all things fair end equal he is the one they have to beat!

RANDWICK
Race 4 | 2. Tempted
Arguably should have won the Golden Slipper and this will be her consolation. Cursed with the barrier draw which J Mac will have to overcome, most likely getting back and running on out wide. I’m also worried about the lack of pace in the race for that to happen. Is she just better than them?
BENDIGO
Race 2 | 3. Killiana
Returns to the place where she smashed the field winning by 4.25. She never disgraced herself in the million dollar Showdown and she deserves another chance. Has had great support saying she can win.
Race 3 | 5. Sunset Dreaming
Gets another chance here as she was on the wrong side of the Flemington straight first up where you couldn’t make up any ground. Will find this easier, draws perfect and gets a huge claim for Norman Bates.
Race 8 | 3. Wonder Boy
Should have won two back at Flemington and then nearly pinched a G2 race in Sydney with the filly Lazzura being too good for him. She should have won again next start franking the form.
