Cam Luke & Campbell Brown have your Monday sorted on Trackside.
The lads have taken a look at Donald, Dubbo & Tuncurry to bring the Track family some winners.
See their best bets below:👇
Cam Luke
Dubbo: Race 3, No.2 - Prizes Galore (each way)Got a fair way back when resuming and ran ok going around them. Hit the line like he will improve and the 1600 feels lovely for him second-up. I think the good track will help him as well. In a race that’s not dripping in cream he is a great each-way play.
Dubbo: Race 5, No.6 - EgyptologistThe gate is a little tricky but there is speed with Tavanasia and Sizzling Tale so should be able to slot in. Has trialled up well without being asked to do a lot and always runs well 1st up! Was in great form before the spell and I think the good track works better for him than a couple of others who might appreciate a little toe in the ground.
Tuncurry: Race 3, No.12 - Scarlet MonarchFlew the gates on debut in a much tougher race in Newcastle got tired late got tipped out. Expect to be a lot better today. Will lead if she handles the heavy. I don’t think they’ll run her down. The money might come late. Crazy Mikki the obvious danger handles the heavy and drawn nicely but occasionally can get a little far back so that gate might not work.
Tuncurry: Race 7, No.4 - Taking The MikkiSecond-up and the slop are the perfect ingredients for this bloke! Had no luck last start at Port Macquarie and drawn perfectly today to stalk the pace of which there is a little starting with Super Jaie from outside gate. 1200 is perfect and although winning isn’t always his forte today is his day!!!
Donald: Race 4, No.2 - Dark HarmonyGot annoyed last start and Terang from a wide gate. Today inside gate with Linda Meach going on, not as much pressure upfront stays at the 1600 all of which I like. They’re going to need to run him down and it won’t be easy. Sevillana the danger, comes out of the same race and beat DH home and has clear weight advantage again but I feel that last race was tempo related and hoping its run different today.
Donald: Race 6, No.9 - Cherish The DaySecond up to the 1200 suits after predominantly being a 1000 metre horse wasn’t bad in town last start and I expect in a much easier race and Dean Yendall will probably go forward. Races better on top of the ground as well.
Campbell Brown
Donald: Race 1, No.2 - CardiologistThis maiden has the heart to win today. Been all around the placings in his career to date. Will jump and go forward in a race with no speed. His race experience and fitness will be enough to hold on. $2.80.
Dubbo: Race 5, No.10 - Midnight AffairNeeds to use barrier 1 to advantage and hunt through and be positive. Last two efforts over 1400m have been terrific, gets 2kg weight relief from last start and can win at $3.70
Tuncurry: Race 1, No.3 - Kooky
First-up for new stable. Former Price/Kent runner that had four starts in Victoria before a change. Placed twice and if it can't beat this small field in Tuncurry, forget about it. Very short and heavy track only queries. $1.80
