"NSW lost the moment they hired Laurie Daley"
SEN • July 10th, 2025 4:34 pm

With NSW players and fans left to lick their wounds this morning, disappointment quickly turned to anger and frustration, particularly among SEN’s listeners who called Andrew Voss and Greg Alexander to vent.
In what Vossy dubbed an “open line therapy session” fans called up in huge numbers to have their say after NSW lost the Origin decider to Queensland by 12 points at Accor Stadium.
We compiled the best callers in the video below.
Dave from Penrith launched a scathing attack on NSW coach Laurie Daley laying the blame for the series defeat firmly at his door.
“G’day guys. NSW lost when the selected Laurie Daley as coach. He has no history of coaching – he’s terrible.
“Terrell May should have been picked. Matt Burton and Tedesco should have been there.”
__Darren was furious with selections too:
“Wrong team. Our halves were absent in games two and three. What does Burton have to do to get a job?
"For the love of God when will they realise the only thing more absent than the halves through the series was Latrell.”
Panther Pete:
“If two players don’t train for one minute of the camp let’s scrap the camp next year and let them play the weekend. We lose in Perth and make no changes, they win in Perth and make changes, and the gap got wider.”
Jimmy from Campbelltown:
“Laurie Daley is signed up for the next year, why would we expect anything different? They got progressively worse. It’s gone backwards. How could you not motivate your players to get it done in front of 80k at home?”
