Brandy's final message to NSW ahead of Origin decider

SEN’s Greg Alexander has delivered a stirring message to the NSW Blues side ahead of the State of Origin Game III decider in Sydney.
The Blues took Game I in enemy territory at Suncorp Stadium but had their colours lowered in Perth in Game II.
Alexander, who played six Origin matches for NSW and acted as advisor between 2018-2023, insisted the Blues squad must be prepared for anything in order to retain the Origin shield.
“We all want to win but the mantra remains the same,” Alexander said on SEN 1170 Breakfast.
“What are you prepared to do to make it happen?
“That’s the message that the NSW players have to run out with.
“What am I, as an individual, prepared to do to make sure we are holding the trophy at the end of the game?
“90% of the game is effort. It’s toughness and being unrelenting (in your pressure).
“The rest of the 10% is magic.”
Alexander put further emphasis on NSW centre Latrell Mitchell who has shown flashes of brilliance throughout the series without dominating.
“We have an advantage on the edges and I’d really like to see Jarome Luai bring Latrell into the game,” Alexander added.
“We really haven't seen (the best) of Latrell. We’ve seen exquisite hands from him and he’s supplied Brian To’o some great passes.
“Sometimes he can be a little bit quiet. I want to see him get the ball and see him take the Queensland defence on.
“Even if he doesn’t want the ball, pass it to him because I want to see him run.”
