The Six Again Podcast: NRLW finals picture takes shape as Warriors face major rebuild

In this week’s edition of The Six Again Podcast, Pip Morris and Ravinder Hunia reflect on the highs and lows of the NRLW regular season before looking ahead to a finals series that is set to deliver plenty of drama.
With the Gold Coast Titans and Sydney Roosters already guaranteed a place in next week’s semi-finals, the remaining finals spots will be decided through two elimination matches.
The reigning premiers, the Brisbane Broncos, will meet the Newcastle Knights, while the Canberra Raiders will face the Wests Tigers in a rematch of last week’s clash, with the winners advancing.

Broncos veteran Ali Brigginshaw joined the podcast to reflect on the last season in her remarkable career, the club’s path towards another finals campaign and the challenge awaiting the reigning premiers.
She also shared her memories of receiving a haka from the Warriors during her final regular-season match last week.
Tigers prop Christian Pio also featured on the podcast, discussing the club’s dramatic turnaround after consecutive wooden spoons in 2024 and 2025.
The Wests Tigers have added 13 new players and appointed a new coach as part of their rebuild, and Pio explained how those changes have helped transform the team’s fortunes this season.
And despite the Raiders getting the better of the Tigers last week, Pio remains confident her side can continue its run and push towards the Grand Final.

Pip and Rav also discussed the New Zealand Warriors’ disappointing end to the season after missing out on the top six through losing their final five matches, having earlier occupied fourth place on the ladder.
The hosts revisited last week's post-match press conference where captain Apii Nicholls couldn’t contain her emotions after the Warriors season had officially come to an end and learning at least eight players will be departing the club, including Harata Butler and Patricia Maliepo, leaving a large re-building task in the hands of Ron Griffiths.Â
They discuss how it explains the lack of connection in recent weeks, especially after unusual body language and commentary during the club's awards on Tuesday.
