THE SPEED MACHINE is from the Price/Kent Jnr yard and could be well named based on jump-outs. He has shown very good early speed to win Cranbourne jump-out over the 650 and again when asked for a small effort over 800m there on Mar 9. He should give a bold sight. Michael Hickmott saddles up two here. LALOR was good on debut when beaten 4.22 lengths behind Rich On Bubbles in the Magic Millions 2YO at Murray Bridge. Stablemate WHITE POINTER was runner-up in a Murray Bridge trial before winning an Oakbank trial on Mar 5. CZECH OUT was runner-up here behind Moana Spirit on debut back on Dec 5 and was second in a recent jump-out. VANDAROSS was beaten 5.71 lengths in the Rich On Bubbles race at Murray Bridge.

RACE 2 - 12:16PM Quayclean Handicap (1000 METRES)
MISS SLIPSTREAM is a promising mare who won by 3.09 lengths at Murray Bridge before another impressive win at Morphettville on Cup Day, beating Nosie By Nature by 0.72 lengths. She has a lot of upside and the fitness advantage on her rivals, including the danger JUSTA STAR, who resumes from a lengthy break and was placed in the Listed Adelaide Guineas over a mile as a 3yo and then beaten 4.44 lengths behind Stay Focused back at the 1400m in the Listed Nitschke Stakes at Morphettville back on Apr 5. He’s had a couple of trials against some seasoned horses and has been placed fresh. HEAVEN ROCKS was a Morphettville winner beating De Luca before a spell and has had a couple of jump-outs ahead of her return. CREEK was bursting to win a race in his first prep in SA for Paula Trenwith and wasn’t further back than 4th in his last five runs. He was 2nd in a recent Morphettville jump-out and draws a nice barrier. SANTASIA comes off a Balaklava win, beating Winny Bee. JAHANGIR was OK first-up in SA, beaten 4.32 lengths behind Invertational, won a Strathalbyn jump-out since and gets the blinkers for the first time.

RACE 3 - 12:52PM Sportsbet Jockey Watch Handicap (1250 METRES)
DRAMATICUS resumes and is a winner fresh. He was beaten 0.7 lengths in 3rd as a $2.10 fav before a break and has been placed and won a Ballarat jump-out ahead of this. He gets an inside gate and 3kg claim for Brooke King with the blinkers back on. MORE THAN HOPE brings good form here, sitting on speed at his past two at Morphettville, beaten 2.46 lengths and 4.01 lengths behind the exciting Mathematician. He draws well and looks the obvious danger. SASSY FOR SURE has been OK in three SA runs and was good, late beaten a length behind Cork Harbour here last week. I AM PIKI was back to her best, scoring a 0.71 length win over Vercilli at Murray Bridge last start. She draws well and should be in the finish again. SWYCHO resumes and has been in the money at all three runs here, placing two of four fresh. He was beaten 3.63 lengths behind Snoopy Now before a break. MISS SECOMBE made ground first-up in SA behind Santasia at Balaklava, MARCOLT resumes for a new stable and won a recent Oakbank trial.

RACE 4 - 1:27PM Sportsbet Race Replays Handicap (2294 METRES)
EL JAMES brings solid form here, scoring a dominant 2.22 length Naracoorte Cup win two runs back and then following up with a game effort beaten 1.91 lengths behind. Eventually, in the Group 3 Lord Reims, he was caught deep early and made his run towards the inside. He draws the middle and should take beating. BURNING BRIGHT followed up a luckless Port Lincoln Cup effort with an impressive win here last week, given a perfect run before she raced away for a 2.01 length win. She’s a mare in hot form and will take beating again. THEODOR was good running 2nd in that race and won well at Balaklava prior. Stablemate SENTMENTAL FLAME was beaten 34.83 lengths in the Adelaide Cup fourth-up from a break and could be ready to improve. BRING FORTH has been in the money at 11 of 15 starts and was game beaten 0.3 lengths in 2nd behind Flag Flyer at Sandown last time. THE TRUE BELIEVER has been racing well and comes through the Burning Bright race; he draws a nice gate.

WHISKEY TUMBLER was good on debut when he was on speed and beaten 0.25 lengths in 2nd behind Carpe Astra at Murray Bridge. He draws out, but should give this a shake. CITY PRO was good first-up from a spell beaten 1.3 lengths behind Ramasis here. He draws a nice barrier and looks perfectly placed. COSMIC INTERLUDE was $21 into $17 on debut when beaten 2.5 lengths in 3rd behind Beyond Mysti at Murray Ridge back on Nov 19. She’s had a trial and jump-out and draws a nice barrier. GWYLLGI was in the market at both runs in his first prep and was placed in a recent Morphettville jump-out. He draws a gate. PRESTIGE ERICK was just behind the placegetters at Ballarat on debut and then sent out a $4.20 chance when beaten 0.75 lengths in 2nd behind Price Pienza at Kilmore last time. ARIZONA WILDFIRE was placed here on debut behind Isla’s Fury on Oct 10 and won a Murray Bridge jump-out, but draws a sticky barrier. SCOOTATHEWOOTA was $26-$21 when beaten 0.72 lengths in 2nd behind Dashing Double at Balaklava last week. HARRINO was beaten 1.1 lengths in 4th in that race and must be respected. LUNAR VISTA was beaten 1.02 lengths in 3rd in that race but draws out. ARAMOSO is always around the mark but is a 30-start maiden who will roll forward from the gate with the 3kg claim.

RACE 6 - 2:37PM Lowe's Meat Co Mt Barker Handicap (1400 METRES)
A SAMURAI MIND has been very good in two runs back, charging home late when beaten 1.79 lengths in 4th behind Power Beau in the Listed City Of Marion over 1200m, before he was solid again, beaten 3.02 lengths in 3rd behind Arran Bay in the Listed C S Hayes over 1600m last time. He’s back to 1400m; this looks like his chance. BAMYAN BUDDHA led and was beaten 3.98 lengths in that race; he was a good Morphettville winner prior and will make his own luck. PUDDING resumes. His form was solid in stronger races last time in work, running 2nd, beaten 1.81 lengths behind Cartoon Graveyard, before running 3rd in the John Letts Cup behind Air Assault. He’s won a trial and jump-out; the stable is coming off a treble last week. PLACO is flying and was ridden up on speed when a dominant 3.28 length winner over Texan Windstorm last time. EASY CAMPESE defeated Cartoon Graveyard here on Sep 20 and has jumped out OK for its return. JACK THE LAD was well beaten in the Arran Bay race last time, his previous two runs in Listed level sprints were full of merit, and he could be the improver. EXALTED FIRE strips fitter for a good return and has a handy second-up record.

CASH was solid first-up from a short break when he was back and made good ground beaten 3.84 lengths behind an impressive Shadhavar at Murray Bridge in the 3&4YO Magic Millions last time. Stablemate SYNCHRO has won three of eight and hasn’t raced since he was beaten 2.42 lengths behind Alainge on the Parks back on Sep 6. He won a recent Murray Bridge jump-out. HOT DIGGITY BOOM was a Cranbourne winner two starts back and then $7.50-$4.80 when beaten 5.11 lengths behind Astral Flame in a BM84 at Flemington last time. He draws the inside and gets in OK after the 2kg claim. STAY SILENT is from the Maher yard and was a Sale winner on Feb 1 before being beaten 1.11 lengths in BM66 grade at Pakenham last time when he led. ANNIHILATE was too good for Stokomo on the Parks two runs back and then beaten 3.12 lengths behind Headphones there last week. He draws a nice gate. Stablemate SUPER LAD was a Morphettville winner first-up before being beaten 9.56 lengths in 9th behind Star Sirius at Murray Bridge last time. ICHIBAN is first-up in SA for Justin Pickering, stablemate JILLADORA can improve second-up. TEXAN WINDSTORM draws a gate and has been racing well in similar races.

BEYOND MYSTI looked a talented filly, recording a 1.56-length Murray Bridge winner on debut, beating Act Natural. She looked good when placed in a recent jump-out there and draws a wide barrier for her return. BLUE AKOYA is from the Freedman stable and has won two of her past four, the latest at Sale, scoring a 1.25 length win in a BM62 coming from off the speed. She was beaten 2.56 lengths in a BM66 at Seymour last time and draws a sticky gate. IN LOVE was good leaving throughout for a 0.95 length win over SMASHING ACTION, who draws a nice gate, here last time and draws the inside with a 3kg claim. EFFUSIV was a $3.90 fav when beaten 7.71 lengths in that race. DYER was well beaten first-up behind Nextonixs here but has been in the money at both second-up runs and draws well. ICE SYMPHONY was good, late beaten 0.45 lengths behind Mintulee here last time, but he draws out. MORRIS MINOR has been placed at three of four first-up and draws a nice barrier.

RACE 9 - 4:37PM Thomas Farms Handicap (Heat 2 of Festival State Sprint Series) (1250 METRES)
NICISH caught the eye first-up from a spell, making good ground when beaten 1.44 lengths in 2nd behind Nextonixs here over the 1000m. She draws out but should be strong again late, and the rise to 1250m looks ideal. STREETCAR APOLLO has a good record here around the Parks and was a $3.10 fav and forced to chase hard behind an impressive Placo last time over 1400m. He comes back in trip from a good gate and looks hard to beat. ACAPELLA MOON has been in great form and followed consecutive 2nds with a 0.31 length win over Autumn Frost, who has won since, this track and trip on Feb 28. DELIGHTFUL SHECKY was back to winning form here on a heavy track on Jul 26 and made good ground first-up, beaten 2.15 lengths in 9th behind Super Lad on the outer track. WILLYBEAFACTOR has been solid in three runs back chasing home the smart World’s My Oyster twice and draws a nice barrier. VOLTAGE POINT was runner-up here two runs back behind High On Sugar before he jumped a $2.50 fav and was well back before being beaten 3.43 lengths in 3rd behind Tydeus at Port Lincoln. WINE BARRON resumes and has been in the money at three of six starts here and was 4th in a recent Murray Bridge jump-out. CORK HARBOUR continues to race well and was perfectly ridden to defeat Cuban Waters here last week; he’ll need luck from a sticky gate.

BARGAIN BOY comes off a good effort when he settled back and was beaten 1.06 lengths behind Midlife Crisis this track and trip on Feb 28. He draws the middle and should be in the mix again. TOP OF THE RIDGE was good, making ground when beaten 2.6 lengths in 4th behind Brown Nose Day Girl over 1600m here on Cup Day. SAFE BET looked to have his chance when beaten 0.89 lengths in that race. ROYAL FOX was a Morphettville winner two starts back before running down the track in the Kangaroo Island Cup; his best would be somewhere in the mix. SMOTHER was a $3.10 fav and on speed when well beaten behind Coorong Tycoon over 2250m here last time, and his two runs prior were solid. HYSTERICAL LADY has been just behind the placegetters at her past couple, the latest beaten 4.14 lengths behind Anahorish at Murray Bridge. DUO PERNA comes off a strong 0.46 length Balaklava win last week, SERINITE ILLUSION is another coming off a last-start Balaklava win but draws out, while KING OF WESSEX has been racing well but also draws wide.
