NRL Finals fixture: Dates, times and venues confirmed
With the NRL regular season concluding on Sunday, the NRL has revealed the schedule for Week One and Week Two of their finals series.
While the matchups were confirmed following Cronulla’s victory over the Bulldogs on Saturday night, the NRL has now officially announced in which order they will be played.
With no AFL in town next week, the Melbourne Storm will host the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs in their qualifying final clash at AAMI Park on Friday night (September 12). Kick-off takes place at 7:50pm (AEST).
Then, it will be a sudden death Saturday with both elimination final matches being played on the same day.
In the early timeslot, the New Zealand Warriors will play the Penrith Panthers at Go Media Stadium in Auckland, with the match beginning at 4:05pm (AEST), which will be 6:05pm local time.
Following that, at 7:50pm AEST, the Cronulla Sharks take on the Sydney Roosters at Shark Park to decide who will play the loser of the Storm/Bulldogs game.
And on Sunday, the minor premiers in the Canberra Raiders and the Brisbane Broncos will battle it out for a spot in the preliminary final when they play at GIO Stadium with kick-off at 4:05pm AEST.
The NRL has also announced the timeslots for the two semi-finals, with one game to be played on both Saturday (7:50pm) and Sunday (at 4:05pm).
Tickets for Week One will go on sale to competing clubs' members on September 8 at 10am (AEST), while non-competitng club members will have access at 4pm on the same day.
The General Public will have access to buy remaining tickets the following day, on September 9, from 10am onwards.
