“Class edge”: Mick Gannon's Saturday best at Scone (16/05)
Leading form analyst Mick Gannon from TheGreatTipOff and SENTrack & RSN has provided his best bets for Saturday's racing.
Gannon has taken a close look at Scone.

Scone Race 3, No.3 - MOSCATEL
Couldn’t have been more impressive on debut, putting a space on them with a dominant 4.43L win in what already looks a handy form race. The runners behind her have started to frank the performance too, with Quarterback producing a solid effort last Saturday, while Zousika has since come out and won strongly at Kembla.
The market looks to have overreacted to the barrier. She showed sharp gate speed first-up and with the 1100m start at Scone giving runners their opportunity early, she should have enough time to work across. If she finds the front without burning too much fuel, she’ll take catching.
Race 5, No.4 - MAN OF WORTH
Prepared to risk Amreekiyah at the trip. She steps from 1400m to 1700m and her previous attempts beyond 1400m leave enough doubt, having failed to see out both 1500m and a mile.
Man Of Worth goes the other way. The rise from 1250m to 1700m is unconventional, but he’s had a quiet trial between runs to keep him ticking over and his profile suggests there’s still improvement to come. Importantly, he’s already proven at the mile and continues to raise the bar each preparation.
The set-up might look different on paper, but it gives us a price around the horse with the upside and class edge in the race.
