BET OF THE DAY (Melb)
MOONEE VALLEY - Race 10 No.3 - KING ZEPHYR - Resumes. Thrashed good one in Athanatos fresh last prep then three big wins running slick times before wet track miss and spelled. Recent trial was excellent !! Good horse.
BET OF THE DAY (Syd)
RANDWICK - Race 7 No.2 - CEOLWULF - Just about Run Of The Day fresh when forced very wide Vs pattern (star Mares saved ground and pinched 6-7L on him), he still zoomed home. Flies 2nd-up. Back a notch here. Clear top pick.

Race 9 - G1 Moir Stks - WFA - 1000m
12 - ALABAMA LASS - Resumes. Loving these new season 4yo mares and this girl has been to Melb and won as 3yo filly. She runs times of a proper G1 horse. Trials excellent. Drawn ideally.
7 - BARAQIEL - Great return win. Love the way he travelled at 1000m (some thought pre-race they’d be too slick for him) but he got the run and won well (and softly). If you delete his straight track runs (and for mine he’s below his best up straight) he has been beaten once!
16 - ESHA - Brilliant filly off two fabulous wins and drops 50.5kg here at WFA. On times/ measures she wasn’t far off the Oak Hill race here fresh. Goes in everything if they gain a start.
14 - NIANCE - Resumes. Trialling very well herself. Great win facing strong breeze fresh last prep. Only recent defeat she blew the start and was probably the best run in that race. Gate is tricky.
11 - SKYBIRD - Resumes. Outstanding G1 Lightning Stks win fresh last prep. 1000m around here different story (and mathematically harder) but likely strong speed and level playing field do help her.
6 - JEDIBEEL - Resumes. Gun fresh horse and on his I Am Me / Bella Nipotina form he is in this race.
