Sebastiani: Treasurethe Moment’s value skyrockets after Memsie win

Treasurethe Moment has amazed the racing world, winning one of the most talented Memsie Stakes of all time.
The four-year-old mare stormed home with 200m left to win the Group 1 by 2.5 lengths, beating stars like Mr Brightside, Another Wil, Antino, Fangirl and Buckaroo.
Paul Sebastiani was mesmerised by the incredible run and is confident that the mares price has skyrocketed.
“The step up from three-year-old into open company Weight-For-Age (is massive) - she’s absolutely smashed them,” Sebastiani told SENTrack’s Saturday Trackside.
“For a horse who has gone up to the staying distance at a 2400m, she just tanked into the race.
“I’m nearly speechless, she just loomed up into it like you wouldn’t believe and gone past them like they were standing still.
“Her value has just gone unbelievable.”
David Taggart on the other hand believes that Treasurethe Moment’s value is already near its peak and can barely get any higher.
“Nah, she’s got that (value) anyway, you’re not gonna add much more value,” Taggart exclaimed.
“For one, it’s a mare, it’s not a colt.
“Her value won’t go up through the roof, like what you would think.
“It’s gonna go up, but it’s not gonna go from 10 million dollars to 20 million dollars.
“If she’s a 4 million dollar mare, she goes to 4.5.
Whether or not Treasurethe Moment’s value surges is up for debate, but one thing is certain – she is an absolute superstar.
