Healy: Crap, lazy, selfish Titans need to grow up

The Gold Coast Titans, they're continually surprising me with their immaturity.
Last night, Sam Verrills spoke on the news as his teammates circulated out of a schools clinic, which was great, and what he said was perfect (but) I've never heard more excuses and justifications of crap performances from a sports team.
And this is a sports team that I like and I would love to see them achieve.
Neil Henry, Justin Holbrook, Terry Matterson, Jim Lenihan, Garth Brennan, John Cartwright, Des Hasler are all good types who know the game.
I assume they've had different methods and yet they all have torn their hair out and exited apart from Des...and don't tear that beautiful hair out, Des.
The basics don't change and surely must have been drilled for thousands of hours by now - to no avail.
Why has Cameron Ciraldo been able to create new structures and execution at the Dogs in just three years? But the Titans aren't there after 18?
On paper, I'm saying they're good to great. A little unbalanced in the back probably, but not a whole lot of money has gone frittered away.
It's when they hit the field that they revert to superstar schoolboy qualities that once were for them. You know, a little bit selfish and then a little bit lazy if they want to be.
Now in the men's league, they're now in and earning heaps of money that doesn't seem to be good enough.
Grow up Titans. Don't wait for Tino to lead all of you. Take it on, own the plan and improve.
