Defiant Ange insists Spurs speculation “doesn’t consume me”
Pressure continues to mount on under-siege Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou after Spurs went down to London rivals Chelsea 1-0 overnight at Stamford Bridge.
The loss leaves Spurs languishing in 14th spot on the Premier League table with eight matches remaining having won only one of their last five league outings.
The former Socceroos and Celtic manager isn’t fazed by the discussion regarding his future despite admitting there are some strong candidates for his position including Brentford's Thomas Frank, Fulham's Marco Silva and Bournemouth's Andoni Iraola.

“I don’t deal with it, mate,” Postecoglou told reporters.
“I know what my responsibilities are and I am sure if the club decide to go in a different direction, there are some outstanding candidates for it.
“And you know what, maybe someone will think, ‘Ange Postecoglou is not a bad coach, maybe we’ll take a punt on him’.
“Mate, it doesn’t rock my world. It doesn’t consume me. I am here, I am passionate about what we’re doing.
“I was brought in to change the way the club plays, rejuvenate the squad and bring success. I am focused on that and that is what I’ll keep doing.”
Tottenham will be back in action on Sunday night when they host Southampton before gearing up for a massive first leg Europa League Quarter Final against Frankfurt next Friday.
