Carlton has confirmed that star key forward Charlie Curnow will be sidelined for the remainder of the 2025 season.
According to 7News reporter Mitch Cleary, with the Blues out of finals contention, Curnow will undergo a season-ending knee surgery, preparing for a return in 2026.
In 18 games in 2025, Curnow averaged 12 disposals and six marks, booting 32 goals.
Despite Curnow’s absence, Cleary also reports that midfielder Sam Walsh is a chance of returning to football in Round 22.
Walsh was ruled out with a foot concern prior to the Blues' Round 14 clash with West Coast, having played just 12 games this season.
