Two Brownlow winners commit to Legends Game

- Match is August 28 at Marvel Stadium
Brownlow Medallists Dane Swan and Adam Cooney are locked in for this year’s Legends Game for Prostate Cancer, thanks to Four'n Twenty.
The return of the concept in 2025 has coincided with the commitment of Collingwood great Swan - the 2011 Brownlow winner and 2010 premiership player.
Swan will play for Victoria.
The 41-year-old Hall of Famer has been keeping fit by making one-off appearances at local level. In June he signed with EFNL club Oakleigh District for the rest of the season.
2008 Brownlow Medallist Cooney is set to suit up for the All-Stars against Swan later this month.
The former Western Bulldogs and Essendon midfielder has stayed connected to footy since his retirement and is currently coaching at Geelong College.
An SEN regular over the years, Cooney will no doubt come armed with quips, puns and gags at Marvel Stadium on August 28.
Fev locked in
AFL legend Brendan Fevola will play in the 2025 Legends Game.
The 44-year-old, who played 204 AFL games for Carlton and the Lions, will be part of the Victorian team under coach Tim Watson and captain Luke Hodge.
Confirming the news, Fevola said: "The season finishes and there's a break for one week," he said.
"In that week there's nothing on so this year the Legend's game is back. It's for prostate cancer and I've been part of it for about 15 years.
"Cyril is back in the limelight, Tim Watson is the coach. The next player for Victoria to be named is me!
"I wasn't originally going to play, you get older and I didn't want to fail but my kids made me."
“I’m back”: Gorringe confirmed
