With preparations firmly underway for Saturday’s Test against France, former All Blacks prop John Afoa believes the opposition outside attack will pose a significant threat to the hosts.
Afoa, who spent a season in France playing for Vannes, told Sport Nation Afternoons the All Black’s should be wary of the quality of the French outside back combination.
Fullback Max Spring and wingers Damian Penaud and Théo Attissogbé have been named in the team to take on the New Zealanders, with star kicker Matthieu Jalibert accompanying them at No. 10.
“They've got some real potency in their backline. I think that'll be the real threat for the French,” Afoa said.
