Wallaroos-bound Maddi Levi has left the door open to a potential move to the Warriors after watching younger sister Teagan make a huge impression in a code-switch to NRLW.
Levi, 24, is a two-time Olympian with the Australian sevens team and one of the most prolific try-scorers in women’s rugby.
Her younger sister Teagan is also part of the sevens set-up but joined the Gold Coast Titans in the off-season, putting herself in contention for NRLW rookie of the year honours and even a potential Dally M award.
Maddi was asked by Sport Nation’s Scotty & Izzy whether she could follow Teagan into the world of rugby league.
And to the hosts surprise, she revealed NRLW had been a possibility this off-season, however it didn’t fit in her timeline this year.

“It was potentially on my cards this off season but then weighing up my next couple of years and with the Olympics in sight and the home World Cup, I think for me, after playing lots of minutes in the seven series, I needed a Europe trip with the girls and then a bit of time off just to really reset and refresh before it's going to be go go go for the next couple years.”
Levi is in line for a potential Wallaroos debut at Mt Smart this weekend after being named on the bench on Thursday afternoon, but the prospect of returning to the stadium as a Warrior cannot be ruled out.
She was asked if a move to the Auckland-based NRLW side was possible, to which Levi pointed to the positive reviews she had heard about life in New Zealand.
“I actually caught up with Tanah Boyd's partner yesterday and she said she loves it over here."

The winger insisted she has enjoyed watching Teagan’s code-switch from the sidelines, admitting she was surprised by how quickly her sister had backed up from the sevens season.
“I'm actually in awe that Teagan's still running around like that after having had not much time off.
“But it's been good to be on the beers watching her and not actually having to focus about being a player at the time.”
