The All Blacks are heartbroken after their head of security, Logan Cadwallader, died suddenly at their Edinburgh hotel.
New Zealand Rugby said Cadwallader, a former special forces soldier and father of three children, died as a result of "a medical event" on Monday.
The All Blacks are in Edinburgh ahead of a Nations Championship test against Scotland on Saturday.
Speaking for the team, assistant coach Jason Ryan said Cadwallader, who had been the All Blacks' security manager for 10 years, was "a great team member" and a "quiet hero."

"This is something you don't really prepare for, losing a team member," Ryan said.
"I just want to, on behalf of the All Blacks, pass on our sincere condolences to Logan's family, particularly his wife Nannette and three kids, Trey, Brooke and Mia.
"I can tell you that the team is heartbroken. He had a massive influence on a lot of people in the All Blacks in the last decade. He was always looking ahead for us and always looking out for us and our families.
"The country has lost a great soldier and we've lost a great team member. And we love him."
