Tyrel Lomax, Samisoni Taukei’aho and Shannon Frizell have been ruled out of the All Blacks’ Nations Championship Northern Series squad because of injury.
Frizell suffered a left knee injury in the second Bledisloe Cup Test in Sydney. Scans confirmed a posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) rupture, with recovery expected to take about six weeks.
Taukei’aho was injured in the same match, tearing his calf muscle while accelerating from a maul. His recovery is expected to take four to six weeks.

Prop Lomax has been managing a neck disc injury since the Super Rugby season. As it remains aggravated, he will stay in New Zealand for treatment and to give the injury time to settle.
Other injuries from the Bledisloe Cup series are still being assessed. The Northern Series squad is due to be named Tuesday morning.
