April 10-12 and April 17-19 would be weekends circled on the calendars of many Supercars fanatics around New Zealand - and now the Taupo Super 400 is just around the corner.
Seven races into the 2026 Repco Supercars Championship, Brodie Kostecki and Broc Feeney have three wins each in their Ford Mustang GTs, while Anton De Pasquale has taken the other chequered flag in the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1.
But one name that is synonymous with the touring car circuit in Australia and New Zealand is Jones - Brad Jones Racing.
BJR's Andre Heimgartner and Macauley Jones are both lining up on the grid this season in the newest car on the block, the Toyota GR Supra, which they believe has more than enough potential to produce meaningful results on the track against Gen3's more established Ford and Chevrolet.
The BJR drivers were in Auckland recently to promote the New Zealand double-header and joined Sport Nation Afternoons host Mark Stafford for an incredible half-hour interview that covered the past, present and future of Supercars and their own careers.
Sport Nation will have live and free radio commentary of both race weekends with more details to be announced soon.
