The NZ Warriors return to their home fortress of Go Media Stadium looking to continue their unbeaten run to start the 2026 NRL season.
Benji Marshall's West Tigers are in town, but the spotlight is on Luke Metcalf making his first appearance in Andrew Webster's lineup for the year following his season-ending ACL injury back in June 2025. With Tanah Boyd in red-hot form in the No. jersey, Metcalf is slotting into 6.
There's also been a late change to the Warriors' starting lineup with Ali Leiataua dropped to the NSW Cup in favour of Taine Tuaupiki making the grade. He slots into fullback and Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad moves into the centres.
