Wild scenes from inside the Titans change rooms showed the almighty spray players copped from Des Hasler after yet another defeat.
Vision shown on Fox Sports shows the under-fire coach screaming for a handful of players to get themselves out of the shower and back into the changerooms.
The 64-year-old’s fit of rage followed the side’s one-point defeat to the Wests Tigers on Sunday in a result that leaves the club firmly cemented to the bottom of the ladder.
A chance at victory was lost when they conceded a last-minute field goal.
The Titans are now on track for a fourth straight spoon.
For weeks now Hasler’s job security has been the topic of widespread speculation with reports suggesting he could be sacked as soon as next week after his 500th game.
Corey Parker, who has been calling for Hasler to be cut loose for the past month, said the vision just underlined the fact he is a dead man walking.
“He’s going and he’s frustrated that his team has played a significant role in him being shown the exit door,” Parker said on SENQ Breakfast. “He knows he is going.
“I’m hearing it could be after the Warriors game and also that he is staying til end of the season.
“So Jimmy (Lenihan) gets the caretaker role again.
“It’s a bit rude going off to have a shower before Des addresses the team, I would think.
“You don’t do anything until the coach has his say.”
Furious with his side’s performance against the Tigers, Hasler took aim at his playing group.
“It’s really disappointing that in the second half we fumble, we bumble, we miss tackles, we throw balls over the sideline, we get carried over the sideline and we complete 9 from 15 sets,” he said.
“I’m really disappointed in that performance. It was really dumb.
“We didn’t need luck. There was the scrum penalty and three knock-ons that the referee missed, but I’m not going to blame the loss entirely on the referee’s performance.
“We didn’t help ourselves.”
