The road course domination continues as Shane van Gisbergen has swept the NASCAR stage, winning both the NASCAR Cup and O’Reilly Auto Parts Series' events.
The Kiwi soared to secure his second consecutive NASCAR Cup Series win at Sonoma Raceway on Monday (NZT), after starting the race from sixth position.
He led a race-best 74 of 110 laps, finishing just 0.357 seconds in front of rival Chase Briscoe.
Van Gisbergen also won the second-tier NASCAR on Sunday from pole position.
