All Blacks Sevens head coach Tomasi Cama will step down at the end of the 2025/26 World Series campaign.
With his contract set to expire, Cama - who has been part of the coaching group since 2017 and head coach since 2023 - said the time was right to move on after more than two decades representing New Zealand Sevens as both a player and coach.
“I’ve had some incredible opportunities through Sevens and feel privileged to have represented the black jersey both as a player and a coach for more than 20 years," he said in a statement.
"I care deeply about the players and the black jersey will forever be in my heart, but it’s time for somebody else to take the reins."

While their women's counterparts have continued their dominance, the men's NZ sevens national programme has struggled in recent years.
Their triumph in Dubai in December was their first since Singapore back in May 2024. Their last championship came in the 2022/23 season.
New Zealand Rugby High Performance Sevens lead Hannah Porter paid tribute to Cama's contribution.
"He has put an immense amount of time and care into the jersey," Porter added.
"He has written himself into the history books on the world stage as both a player and a coach inspired a generation of players with his on-field performances and then shared his mana and knowledge as a coach with the next generation of young Sevens stars.
“Now Tomasi has decided it’s time to move onto a new challenge and we wish him all the best for whatever comes next.”
NZR will confirm the All Blacks Sevens coaching and management group for next season in July.
