Race 4 | 4. Symphony Of Colour
I am nervous about Shehungthemoon getting way in front so hoping this girl sits outside her. Was really good in last prep behind smart horses and this is a nice kick off point. Has been good first up including last prep behind Bellatrix Stat and Bold Bastille and expect huge run today.
WARWICK FARM
Race 4 | 3. Bacio Del Mist & 4. Soul Of Spain
These are the two best in the race with much different form-lines. Spain deserves fav and was really good at Ballarat when hanging a little in the straight which makes me think Sydney will suit a little as will the 2200m third up in Australia. Bacio Del Mist comes out of much much tougher race and I think back in trip helps. I’m more inclined to look to the two starts before that when great in a G3 and won over 2100m in a similar race. I can’t split the two so I’ll play the exotic.
Race 5 | 8. Media World
I’m hoping the same race form holds up from Spring behind Lady Shenandoah when Media World was a tad unlucky in straight and then was OK over the Flemington carnival when back three wide with cover. Has drawn really well and expect to box seat behind The Three Hundred and Lyles. Has trialled up really well (wasn’t overly pushed) and the 1200m is no bother first up. Ignore the one from five good track as they’ve been better races than this. True To Form is the interesting runner trailed well but that was February and even though the horse can go forward, I expect might snag back due to gate. Little Cointreau is the danger, loves Good and first up and looks ready to go. Drawn a tad sticky so needs luck but will run well but I am siding with the class runner who will have the speed map advantage in Media World.
Race 7 | 4. Snack Bar
Drawn awkwardly but trust in J Mac. Finished on the heels of Autumn Glow & Lady Shenandoah last prep and goes well first up. Good track works nicely for a horse who has trialled well without breaking records. Plenty of speed in the race with Deprivation and Drift Net which will help Snack Bar slide in a couple of pairs back and then go bang!!
