SENTrack: Wednesday best bets from Cam Luke & David Taggart (02/04)
Cam Luke & David Taggart have your Wednesday sorted on Trackside.
The lads have taken a close look at Ballarat & Warwick Farm in a bid to find the family some winners.

BALLARAT
Race 3 | 5. Myriad
Was pretty good in debut hitting the line well over 1100m. Winner is a really nice horse and will be in the market Sat (Scenic Point). The experience plus up to 1200m should work nicely. Maldini went forward without too much luck in first prep so expect him to go forward and maybe Damian Lane will follow as not a huge amount of speed on paper for tried horses. Blake Shinn will be wary as well and might be more prominent on Lady Lonsdale the fav who was really good on debut at Bendigo. But I expect Myriad to break the maiden.
Race 5 | 1. Notabadbuy
Is always great first up and this set up over the mile is how he did it last prep at Bendigo. Small field means no real pressure on him up front and Jett Stanley with the claim will make his own luck. Armino and Blushing Tycoon have both pushed fed before but don’t expect them to be fighting for the lead. He has jumped out well this bloke and good luck trying to run the tough bloke down!!
Race 6 | 3. Quiseen
This is a lot easier than the 72 in town last start where she ran well and probably was a little soft late so back to 1200m helps. Even though I prefer a wider gate for her the fav Cordina will sting them out and hopefully allow Declan Bates a chance to get her off the fence. She is a big girl so room will be of the essence when she is ready to strike. Won here two starts back and she went forward that day (one out one back) as well so I expect her to sit on back on the fav and go bang at her home track.
WARWICK FARM
Race 3 | 6. Tuned
Stays at the 1200m after resuming ok!! Probably a little less pressure on pace today which will suit him albeit from a slightly sticky gate (7) I think he is better getting toe into the ground and last time he got that he beat Pocketing. Jason Collett sticks as well which gives me confidence. Modella and California Sunrise are the dangers . Modella has had the break and will get back off so will need tempo and some luck and California Sunrise for me is the danger. Handles heavy and has trialled up well but again will spot Tuned a few lengths so I’m siding his way!
Race 4 | 2. Arqana
Always a slight question going this way first time but expect her to be tough to beat. Handles wet tracks and the gate not a huge issue as she will go back. Imposing Pier and Inferencia will ensure enough tempo. This is easier than Flemington last start where she was a tad disappointing as fav but finished alongside Bianco Vilano who is also here today but is better on a good track than Arqana which they got that day!! I expect to see her be much better today and be very hard to beat!!
