The NZ Warriors surprised many by putting over 40 points on the Sydney Roosters - now Andrew Webster's side turns their attention to the Canberra Raiders.
The Wahs will run out Friday night to an electric home crowd at Go Media Stadium as slight 1.87 favourites on betcha* compared to the Raiders' odds of 1.95.
Webster has named an unchanged lineup, while Canberra head coach Ricky Stuart is starting Morgan Smithies at prop to replace Josh Papalii, who is being rested under the NRL's concussion protocols.
Kiwis centre Matt Timoko has also been named on the Raiders' interchange, while Daine Laurie and Joe Roddy complete the changes made to their six-man bench.
This week on Running It Straight, hosts Sam Hewat and Anthony Gelling are joined by Blake Austin, who played 88 games for the Raiders between 2015 and 2018.
Hewat and Gelling also address the reports around Melbourne Storm winger Will Warbrick's potential move to the Warriors next season and what that might mean for the likes of Dallin Watene-Zelezniak, plus how the new interchange rule might impact NSW Cup sides, questions surrounding Ali Leiataua's defensive performance, and more.
Join Sport Nation for live commentary of the NZ Warriors vs Canberra Raiders from 7.30pm Friday, kick-off 8pm.
