RACE 1 - 12:41PM Lest We Forget Handicap (1200 METRES)
VANGOGH BANKCHEQUE was placed behind Legacy Bound at Flemington two runs back and was a $1.80 favourite when beaten 2.5 lengths in 4th behind Nation State at Sandown last start. He looks perfectly placed here and the clear top pick. DOBBINAIR is bursting to break through and was game coming from the back when beaten 0.66 lengths behind Swiftie Harriet here last time over the 1100m. The rise in trip looks ideal, and he should be in the finish with the big weight. HYPERNOVA ran well when beaten 3.07 lengths in 5th when resuming in that race, and he draws a nice barrier. REDDERS was game running 2nd behind Shadhavar in the Magic Millions 3&4YO race at Murray Bridge and then beaten 5.86 lengths in a BM70 at Sandown since. He can improve. REGAL SECRET was impressive leading through for a 2.46 length win here last time beating SHADOW EAGLE who made good ground. Likewise, SASSY FOR SURE finished off hard in the same race. EMPIRE OF PAIN is first-up in SA for Michael Hickmott and was placed in a recent Murray Bridge jump-out.

RACE 2 - 1:16PM Sportsbet Breeders' Stakes (1200 METRES)
VERZAIN is a tough filly with a good record and was impressive fighting off OLE GO, who looked to have her cold, winning the Listed Without Fear here last time. The latter gets a barrier advantage here. CZECH OUT was very good at massive odds, beaten 1.22 lengths in 3rd in that race. VANDAROSS was 4th in the same race and hasn’t done a lot wrong. GIMONNET was a $21 chance and good late beaten by 3.89 lengths in that race on debut. The rise in trip suits. ARAGOG is another Stokes galloper who was a $14 chance winning at Geelong last time and draws a nice barrier. Mark Walker has two runners. HARRY MET SALLY was 4th in the Listed Festival Stakes at Flemington before winning at Ballarat and was beaten 2,25 lengths in 2nd at Sandown last time. WONDERFUL SKY, coming off a Pakenham win over the 1100m, but she draws out.

RACE 3 - 1:52PM PFD Food Services Chairman's Stakes (2000 METRES)
MCWOODY was super impressive in the Port Adelaide Guineas when he covered ground and powered away late to beat Bootlegger. The inside gate isn’t ideal but he profiles like a horse that will only improve over further and should take a power of beating. FLYING BRANT is lightly-raced but was very good running 5th in that race beaten 3.77 lengths and gets Craig Williams. WIGMORE is a big watch a former Kiwi first-up for the Stokes stable and was beaten 2.1 length in 4th in the NZ Derby last time out. Stablemate MATAHGA has shown ability but needs to lift on his recent efforts. AUTUMN MYSTERY comes back to 3yo company after he was only beaten 4 lengths behind Ambassadorial in the G3 Easter Cup at Caulfield a $101 chance. He could be a big improver. ENGINE OF WAR was 2nd behind Savitri at Caulfield two runs back before being beaten 4.46 lengths there last time in a BM74. CRACK A DEEL was beaten 5.7 lengths behind Observer in the G2 Vase in the spring and could be the improver. IMPULSIVE REACTION is lightly-raced and won a Cranbourne maiden over 16500m two runs back.
SELECTIONS: 2 MCWOODY, 3 Wigmore, 1 Autumn Mystery, 5 Engine Of WarPLAY: Keen on MCWOODY
RACE 4 - 2:27PM Sportsbet Queen Of The South Stakes (1600 METRES)
ON DISPLAY should have beaten the older horses in this race last year and was good first-up beaten 2.5 lengths in 3rd in the G3 Shaftsbury Avenue at Flemington and then beaten 3.05 lengths behind Treasurethe Moment in the G2 Sunline Stakes before failing on a soft track at Caulfield last time. She draws a perfect gate and can bounce back. BLINDEDBYTHELIGHT was a $26 chance first-up when beaten 0.73 lengths behind Idle Flyer in the G2 Emancipation at Rosehill on March 28. She draws the inside and should be right in the mix here. TERILEE has won four of eight and was a good 1 length winner over Al Diva at Caulfield last time. CILICAP was only beaten 3.25 lengths behind Lazzura in the G1 Coolmore at Rosehill on mar 14 and then beaten 1.4 lengths in 3rd behind Al Duca in the Anniversary Vase at Caulfield last time. RUMBLED AGAIN won the G3 Summoned Stakes at Caulfield in spring, was beaten 7.4 lengths behind Hughes first-up at Caulfield and has been placed at five of eight second-up runs. PRIVATE LEGACY warmed up late behind Arran Bay in the City Of Adelaide and will appreciate getting out in trip. WORLD’S MY OYSTER won three in succession and was freshened before being beaten 6.01 lengths in the Arran Bay race. TERRESTAR was OK beaten 2.25 lengths behind Gold Coast Belle at Caulfield last time. BRAVE MISS was beaten 2.31 lengths in that race.

NEW YORK LUSTRE has a great record and was placed in the Listed Alinghi behind Stretan Angel before winning the G3 Begonia Belle before a break. She’s won two jump-outs, has three wins from five starts fresh and looks well placed here. ENRICHED made good ground beaten 2.06 lengths behind Marhoona in the G1 Galaxy last time. That’s good form for this. WATCHME WIN flashed late beaten 0.29 lengths behind Super Smink in the G3 Irwin, but has been unplaced at three second-up runs. PISANELLO was beaten 4.21 lengths in that race and should be close to his peak. GRAND LARCENY has a handy record and has been runner-up in two Flemington jump-outs ahead of his first-up mission. RACE 6 - 3:37PM Sportsbet Tobin Bronze Stakes (1200 METRES)
INKARUNA was runner-up in the G3 Red Roses at Flemington in the spring before winning the Thoroughbred Club Stakes. Her form in Sydney has been excellent beaten 0.11 lengths behind Beadman in the Listed Fireball at Rosehill and then sent out a $2.35 favourite and got back when beaten 5.96 lengths in 13th behind Plaintiff in the G3 P J Bell. That form should have her right in the mix here from a middle gate and an improved surface looks ideal. LEGACY BOUND was a good Flemington winner first-up before he was beaten 3.93 lengths behind THANKS GORGEOUS in the Moomba Plate. TYCCON STAR was 3rd in that race and then just missed here last time behind an impressive Regeneration in the Listed Redelva last time. VIRTUAL ILLUSION ran very well in that race beaten 2 lengths in 4th making ground from the back. MATHEMATICIAN was another who ran well at his first try up in class in that race and draws the middle. ROSBERG is talented and was a $2.40 favourite when beaten 4.5 lengths in 5th behind Pallaton in the G3 Zeditave last time at Caulfield. ALPHA SOPHIE ran well in the G3 Typhoon Tracy behind Point Barrow, FERIVIA was well beaten in that race and improved second-up beaten 3.15 lengths behind Soft Love. SELECTIONS: 9 INKARUNA, 1 Legacy Bound, 2 Tycoon Star, 4 RosbergPLAY: Backing INKARUNA each-way
RACE 7 - 4:12PM Sportsbet Australasian Oaks (2000 METRES)
SALTY PEARL was placed in the G2 Armanasco and G3 Kewney before winning the VOBIS Guineas and her latest effort in the G1 Vinery Stud Stakes beaten 0.38 lengths in 3rd behind Belle Cheval was excellent. PANOVA comes through that same race beaten 4.23 lengths and has the Waller/JMac factor. GETTA GOOD FEELING was impressive winning the Inglis Sprint first-up over the 1200m and then jumped to the 1600m for a 0.75 length win in the G3 Alexandra Stakes. She won the Wakeful over the 2000m in the spring and draws a perfect gate. MATING CALL is the pick of the locals on the back of her impressive G3 Auraria win, coming from a mile back to run down FREEDOM FLAME who should get a gun run from the inside. KAZARU worked home well in that race from the back, she won the Tasmanian Oaks over 2100m prior and is sure to be somewhere in the mix. STRICTLY BUSINESS was brilliant winning the VRC Oaks in the spring, but she was only fair last time in the Country Oaks at Ballarat and will need luck from a wide barrier. SAVITRI is a very progressive filly coming off consecutive Caulfield wins, JUST KICK comes through those form lines, and the stable has a great record here. SPICY LU looks over the odds on her best form.
SELECTIONS: 3 SALTY PEARL, 2 Getta Good Feeling, 5 Mating Call, 4 PanovaPLAY: Backing SALTY PEARL each-way at the $5
RACE 8 - 4:48PM Sportsbet Robert Sangster Stakes (1200 METRES)
POINT BARROW is a lightly-raced filly with five wins from her eight starts and she was impressive coming off the speed for a 1 length win in the G3 Typhoon Tracy beating Torsheen. She was 5th beaten 4.25 lengths in the G1 Oakleigh Plate prior and profiles like a filly with a brilliant turn of foot who is capable of overcoming a wide gate with the 54.5kg. Stablemate AMEENA narrowly missed in this race last year and was only beaten 1.67 lengths in the G1 Goodwood two weeks later. She made ground last start beaten 3.78 lengths behind Caballus in the G3 Rising Fast back on November 1. Her fresh form is super, she draws well and does look over the odds. CHARM STONE won this race last year and was very good on speed when beaten 0.87 lengths by the in-form Jigsaw in the G1 William Reid on March 21. She draws out but has been set for this and should take beating. GENEROSITY ran 5th in this race last year, she won the G2 Challenge Stakes at Randwick two starts back and was narrowly beaten by Marhoona in the G2 Galaxy last time. Where she lands from the inside gate will be the biggest issue as she can get back. BRIDAL WALTZ can roll forward from her middle gate and won the VG Comet at Flemington over 100m before she was beaten 0.72 lengths behind Marhoona in the G1 Galaxy last time. MY GLADIOLA was beaten 0.75 lengths behind Tentyris in the G1 Lightning and got well back when beaten 2.42 lengths behind Thanks Gorgeous in the Listed Moomba Plate last time. STRETAN ANGEL was beaten 1.98 lengths in 3rd in that race, she has a handy record here and she can run well. SKYBIRD comes off a luckless run beaten 0.95 lengths in 3rd behind Joliestar in the G1 T J Smith and is racing in career best form. GEEGEES MISTRUTH draws to get a good run and is big odds.

RACE 9 - 5:18PM Thomas Farms Handicap (1600 METRES)

PUDDING was beaten 5.28 lengths in that race but was impressive winning first-up over 1400m on the Parks. GOLDRUSH GURU is the watch, the VRC Derby winner he showed improvement winning a recent Balaklava trial and his best is certainly good enough in a race like this. FINE FUTURE was back to winning form at Oakbank winning The Vintage, MARACOURT flashed home first-up from the back to be beaten 0.19 lengths in that race and gets Jamie Melham. WATADEEL comes through that race beaten 3.69 lengths, likewise STIRRUP CUP was good first-up and beaten 3.69 lengths. SCANDALIZE is flying and draws to get a good run.
