The Brisbane Broncos and NZ Warriors have reached an agreement on a player interchange, with outside back Grant Anderson to head across the ditch next year.
Anderson's three-year deal will facilitate the seamless move of Warriors prop Mitch Barnett to the Broncos next season, also on a three-year contract.
NSW prop Barnett, 31, was granted a compassionate release by the Warriors for next season and agreed to join the Broncos, but Warriors chief executive Cameron George told AAP last month the club was keen to get a fair and satisfactory outcome and secure a player in return.

The delay has been understandable considering the Broncos, like any club, could not force a player to leave when on contract.
Anderson had a deal for next year at Brisbane, but now all parties are satisfied with the outcome the virtual player switch can go ahead.
He has had wretched luck since moving to Brisbane from Melbourne. Anderson made his club debut in the round-three win over his former club and was playing extremely well until he suffered a grade-three MCL injury and fractured tibial plateau in the round-four victory over the Dolphins.

The 26-year-old won't be back in action until at least round 14.
George had said all along that he wanted what was best for the Warriors and for Barnett. The signing of Anderson was hailed by Warriors coach Andrew Webster.
"Grant gives us depth among our outside backs and will certainly add to competition in the squad," he said.
Debuting in 2022, Anderson made 48 first-grade appearances for the Melbourne Storm before joining the Broncos this year - the product of Melbourne’s affiliate club in the Queensland Cup, the Sunshine Coast Falcons, has scored 23 tries in his NRL career.
