We are back! Back for another week of greyhound racing at the Q2 Parklands and another edition of The Thursday Focus. Absolutely loving Queensland racing at present and it always helps when you find a few winners! So, let’s try and do the same. A pretty solid ten race card awaits, racing over the 520m & 710m. The first race is scheduled for 6:39pm and the lucky last, get out stakes penned for 9:55pm. All the racing action, analysis, banter and more can be caught on SEN TRACK 1593am from 6 to 10pm. R1 N5 SCARCITY
Maps absolutely perfect despite the middle draw. Been knocking on the door for a while and this race looks very winnable. Railer in box 4 and wide runner in 6 is ideal, no speed out wide to come across and put heat on. 8 starts for 1 win and 5 minors shows consistency and owns a 30.13 PB. $2.30 is nice!!
R8 N3 BACK TOMORROW
Unlucky last outing after striking early bother, prior to that had been competing against the best in group races and sizzled in 29.62. Maps ideal with a railer in 3 who cuts hard on the first turn, 4 stays straight so should go untouched. Has won 3 of past 7 but 2 from 3 off the box. Keen as mustard!!

R2 N1 NO REIGNS
Won well last outing at a big price off the pink and wanted to crash down early. Doesn’t need to worry about that off the red. Sectionals were good last start, lost a bit of time early due to contact and more on the first bend. 5.13 & 7.85 compares well when Sironen Tigers last win he went 5.08 & 7.66. Big sniff at a large price!
R3 N2 FILL MY POCKETS
Strong type who maps ideal and was good last start over 600m. Step up to 600m was smart as is the drop back in trip, would’ve given him confidence to lead and add chase. Record off inside draws is strong with 17 placings from 22 starts off boxes one to three. Can lead and win or sit on the 1 and run it down.
