With racing continuing at the Q1 for another Thursday night, the spirits of many greyhound trainers, owners, breeders and enthusiasts have been lifted with the green light given to Q2 Parklands trials and resumption to racing. Trialling resumed yesterday and a plan to return to racing is pencilled in for 31st of July.
Tonight’s card at the interim Q lakeside consists of 12 races, the first at 6:38pm, the last 10:36pm and offers a variety of distances for the punters. After a good week with best bets last Thursday we look to find a few tonight. Bests and more below and tune into 1593am, SEN TRACK from 6 to 10pm to catch all tips, analysis and banter.

Absurd run in a heat of the Brisbane Cup and has drawn plum here to win. Freshened after the cancellation of the cup and has the aid of moderate beginner next door in box 2 and okay beginners in 3 & 4. Expect to step with them and muster to hold the rails run, proving too good if leading. Run prior to coming to Queensland at Bulli was massive and shows he can carve out splits on the horse shoe tracks. Best!
R8 N5 STOWAWAY
Brilliant last week and maps ideal for a repeat run. Wide runner outside is nice, scratching of the 4 is even better and moderate speed in boxes 1 to 3 to hold us out. Found his groove the past five starts and is rock hard fit after distance runs under the belt. One danger and that’s the 6, RED DIRT ROAD, who is as versatile as they come and from a kennel who win!

In form runner and strikes a race to get the cart into the first turn. Raced against a few of these last start and held her own. Loves a wide draw and possesses enough pace early to position up nicely. Has placed in 6 of her past 8 starts, only downside is no wins in those starts.
