Leading form analyst Mick Gannon from TheGreatTipOff and SENTrack & RSN has provided his best bets for Saturday's racing.
Gannon has taken a close look at Rosehill.
Race 4 #17 Maybe Moet
Looks ready to strike back on a rain-affected surface, with conditions expected to suit perfectly.
She rises to a more suitable trip, drops back in grade and should enjoy a much kinder run from barrier 2 after covering plenty of extra ground last start. That effort was better than it reads, chasing against the pattern after working from the back and making solid late ground.
She maps to enjoy an economical run, settling around three pairs back with cover before looking for clear air in the straight. Racing as well as she ever has and this shapes as a great opportunity to break through.
Race 5 #13 Miss Kim Kar
Her past two runs are far better than they appear on paper after conceding too much start from back in the field. Third-up now and stepping up in distance, she should be able to settle much closer, which is likely to make all the difference.
The addition of blinkers for the first time is a positive move and she returns to the same profile as her most recent win, third-up over 1400m at Rosehill on rain-affected ground.
The combination of Alysha Collett and Bjorn Baker has an excellent strike rate together, and at around $17 she appeals as one of the standout value plays on the entire program.
