Kiwi Liam Lawson has finished seventh in the Canadian Grand Prix, equalling his best finish in 2026.
Starting from 12th on the grid, the Lawson battled his way up the field to earn championship points for Racing Bulls, tying his efforts in China back in March.
However, the Aucklander remains under investigation for a pre-race incident, meaning he could drop to 8th for being out of order under a yellow flag.
Racing Bulls teammate Arvid Lindblad didn't begin the race, as his car failed to start on the grid.

Championship leader Kimi Antonelli won the race from grid 2, as Mercedes teammate George Russell started from pole and held a steady lead before his car came to a halt with mechanical failure.
2025 F1 Champion Lando Norris and Cadillac's Sergio Perez were also forced to retire from the race with mechanical failure.
Lewis Hamilton finished second while Max Verstappen was third, securing his first podium in 2026 after voicing his extreme dislike for the new cars and regulations.
