Important update on 1476AMSheza Alibi sent to the paddock after Doncaster triumph

Fresh off her mind-boggling Group 1 Doncaster Mile (1600m) victory, Sheza Alibi has been confirmed to head to the paddock.
The star filly’s co-trainer Peter Moody confirmed on RSN’s Correct Weight that the three-year-old’s autumn is over, and she will be preparing for the Spring Racing Carnival.
“Yep, all over now, she’ll have a well-deserved break,” Katherine Coleman’s co-trainer confirmed.
“We’ve always had in our mind that it would be a very light autumn (for Sheza Alibi) because she had been in work a hell of a long time the previous year.
“And obviously she travelled the length and breadth of the country from Central Queensland to Rockhampton to Townsville then found herself all the way down in Melbourne through to Sandown Guineas Day.
“She only got about a 15, 16-day break post that to be ready for these races – that can be quite telling.”
Sheza Alibi ends her autumn as one of the best, if not the best filly in Australia, and will look to come back with a bang in the spring.
