FLEMINGTON - Race 6 No.1 - ZAMBALES - Clear 2nd best in Talindert and winner ran exceptional time then mixed luck and should have finished closer in G1 Blue Diamond with blinkers added. Well drawn. 1400m looks ideal.
BET OF THE DAY (Sydney)
RANDWICK - Race 10 No.2 - GANGSTA GRANNY - Resumes. Lovely trials. Made Autumn Glow work to beat her fresh last prep. Won fresh prior. Goes forward from gate in race devoid of speed. Top-pick.
VALUE BET OF THE DAY
RANDWICK - Race 9 No. 8 - BEIWACHT - Faded fresh in G1 Lightning. That's two straight-track flops now off brilliant and track record Golden Rose win thrashing Tempted. To 1300m here, back around bend on Sydney leg, cant sack yet and now you’re seeing $10!?

Race 9 - G1 Newmarket Hcp - 1200m
1 - 13 - MY GLADIOLA - Just no match for Tentyris fresh in Lightning. Chased him home here in very fast G1 Coolmore in Spring. Reality is, she’s not as good as him however, back to Hcp she has a significant 5kg swing and is three times the price.
2 - 2 - TENTYRIS - Brilliant return win! In fact, his last three runs have been outstanding wins, all of them. Ran fabulous time in G1 Coolmore here in Spring some 6L faster than Caballus (older horses) /Hedged etc on the day. Just loves straight and 1200m suits better. 1kg above WFA is the challenge.
3 - 5 - SEPALS - Resumes. Very good horse. Effortless win fresh last prep in BM100 then outstanding on fearsome speed winning G1 Rupert Clarke before chasing home Autumn Glow in Golden Eagle. Can "save" on him and play exotics at the $23 being offered. Wish drew wider. Best roughie!
4 - 4 - ANGEL CAPITAL - Played-up pre-race fresh and then over-raced. He was heavily backed despite track bias against. Was luckless and very good in same G1 Rupert Clarke as Sepals then chased Jimmysstar. Straight will suit him.
5 - 7 - BENEDETTA - Theres no real upside with her but taking that excellent and luckless return in Lightning at face value. She should have finished closer to Tentyris there. Must be in mix at least, given back to Hcp.
6 - 3 - WAR MACHINE - Not sure he’s flying but solid return in fast race.
