BET OF THE DAY (Melbourne)
CAULFIELD - Race 9 No.1 - PLANET RED - Outstanding finale both runs back. Fastest last 200m of the day fresh then stormed home behind (same) very good one latest. Have always thought he would eat 2000m! Clear top pick.
BET OF THE DAY (Sydney)
ROSEHILL - Race 10 No.10 - INKARUNA - Moral beaten fresh Vs males. Better suited 1200m anyway and did beat My Gladiola before spell. Clear top pick Vs older mares.

CAULFIELD - Race 2 No. 10 - ZIBULON - Good return just missing Hurry Curry (beat home Bluestone) and winner then placed in Adelaide Cup. This guy didnt finish off in that Adel Cup but back to 2400m here. Overs $16??

Race 8 - TAB Golden Slipper - 2YO SW - 1200m
1 - 14 - CHAYAN - Home hard to Diamond winner on debut Vs pattern then very wide and made move mid race in Diamond, she went super. Dominant win first go Sydney-way in Resiling running very good time/ splits off fast speed.
2 - 3 - GUEST HOUSE - Always wide. Working in Prelude then touch unlucky in G1 Diamond. Still very raw but clearly very talented. Can win.
3 - 12 - STREISAND - Wide outside strong speed in G1 Diamond and all honours her. That was her first run in the blinkers. Beat Chayan prior.
4 - 16 - PEMBREY - Never able to open throttle at Syd debut then let run (sort of - she didnt go hard) and too strong last week. The wide gate is no bonus though.. Or, is fence off ? If so, $26 looks massive!!
5 - 4 - WARWOVEN - In worst ground his sole defeat. On strong speed last week yet still ran quality last 200m number Vs girls and older horses (faster overall time too). Draws better than Pembrey.
6 - 2 - CLOSER TO FREE - Absorbed pressure on debut and good win then had the run inside Streisand who did it tougher and was just no match. Still, that was only start 2! Since trialled super in Sydney.
7 - 5 - PARADOXIUM - Had easy lead latest but clearly beat Stretan Ruler who was off a neat win and that clearly ties in the Diamond form. Gate?
8 - 6 - STRETAN RULER - Yep, must have a case for wider bets…
