Full Noise is back after a few weeks on the digital sidelines!
Here at Entain, we run a fantasy NFL league that includes team members from Sport Nation, Trackside, and betcha. From Stephen Foote's near-unbeaten run of 5-1 - to Anthony Gelling still winless and potentially asleep at the wheel of managing his roster - six weeks into the 2025/26 feels like a good time to review the draft and how teams are currently performing.
Full Noise podcast host Logan Swinkels is joined by Jaxin Daniels, who's side is 4-2 and second in the league currently.
To start things off, the guys look at how Jaxin's futures bests are tracking (0:00), they look at what's to love about Fantasy NFL and how opting for an auction draft instead of a traditional snaking-order draft can drastically change the strategies on draft night (15:30), plus who was the smartest with $200 budget (21:00).
Now getting into the season, Logan and Jaxin look at the difference between playing in fantasy leagues that use 1 or 2 quarterbacks per team (23:43), how adding Points Per Reception can affect the scoring (27:31), grading the rosters and who's been busiest on the waiver wire (29:00).
But how does a sports fan in New Zealand choose their NFL team from the other side of the world?
Logan and Jaxin get into their fandom origin stories (34:37), before Logan recalls his recent tour of SOFI Stadium, the home ground for the Los Angeles Rams and Chargers during his recent family holiday in California (37:07).
