Important update regarding Sport Nation's 1476AM Auckland frequency

AUCKLAND UPDATE: From the 15th of April 2026, Sport Nation's 1476AM frequency in Auckland will go off air indefinitely due to the scheduled removal of the southern radio mast in Henderson. To continue listening live, make sure you download the Sport Nation app from Google Play and the App Store.
The app is also available on Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as streaming on our website.
And, if you're wondering how much data will be required when streaming Sport Nation on your device, according to our providers Stream Guys, an hour of streaming will use approximately 58MB.
SOUTHLAND UPDATE: As of 1st of July 2025, Sport Nation's 1224AM frequency that serves Invercargill and the wider Southland region has switched to digital only - we will still be delivering all of our great content day and night through our online streams on the Sport Nation website and app - available on the App Store and Google Play.
