The New Zealand Warriors are preparing to face the Dolphins in their final Preseason Challenge match at Leichhardt Oval this Friday.
The Warriors regain the services of six Māori players involved in the 16–16 draw in the All-Star match-up in Hamilton.
Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad is named at fullback, Dallin Watene-Zelezniak on the right wing, Adam Pompey at centre, and Jacob Laban in the second row.
But the real story lies in the halves.
Luke Metcalf is still recovering from his ACL injury, while Chanel Harris-Tavita is sidelined with a minor calf issue but is expected to be fit for NRL Round 1.
The club has also confirmed Te Maire Martin has broken his right fibula, ruling him out for 12 weeks.

In a situation similar to last year, the weight has fallen on Tanah Boyd’s shoulders.
When asked whether his game changes depending on his halves partner, Boyd told Sport Nation Mornings:
"Not too much to be honest. I know what my strengths are and I just want to make sure I keep doing them well. I don't think I need to change my game. I'll just stick to what I'm good at and hopefully that works for the team."
Luke Hanson will start at six again for Friday’s Preseason clash, having previously combined with Boyd during last year’s NSW Cup winning campaign.
"He is a fiery little bugger, he likes to go after the game. I'm sure he's in for a big year and he has got a lot to offer."
"I'm sure a debut is heading his way this year."
With Luke Metcalf still working his way back, the question now shifts to who owns the No. 6 and No. 7 jerseys in the meantime.
Whether it’s Boyd steadying the ship or Hansen grasping his opportunity, the Warriors’ early-season direction may well be shaped by who takes control before Metcalf’s return.
