Marnus Labuschagne is a late call up to the Australia side to face India in Perth today after Cam Green sustained an injury selectors deemed too risky this close to the Ashes.
Green’s absence from the series has been labelled precautionary after his injury was deemed low-grade.
With the Ashes five weeks away, and captain Pat Cummins already racing the clock to be fit for the series against England, Cricket Australia deemed Green’s injury too risky to play through the India ODI series.
